I often use Microsoft Equation for making formulas. But recently I had a problem with it. After I had made a formula, I quited microsoft equation. Then I found out that the formula did not appear in the screen correctly. The symbols in the formula looked strange. At first, I thought that it might be some fonts on my computer were missing. Then I copied all fonts on my friend’s computer which had not this problem to my computer. But the problem was still not solved.
Then I tried to use Math Type. It gave a warning that it required a newer version of MT Extra (True Type) than the one installed on my computer. Maybe the warning of MathType was related with the problem of Microsoft Equation. I did not know for sure.
I copied all fonts on my notebook to my computer and then the problem was solved. Hore…
But until now , I still do not have an idea which font I got the trouble with……
